Inn at Rose’s Landing- a luxurious stay in Morro Bay, Ca – your one stop destination for lodging, food and entertainment
Article by Joseph Chandler, Chief Journalist – IPA Magazine Travel

As the sun sets behind Morro Rock, the Inn at Rose’s Landing quietly comes to life.

Inside, French doors swing open to the bay. Guests enjoy watercolor sunsets from rooftop fire pits, relax in the sauna, and savor a complimentary bottle of wine—just one of their little ways of saying welcome.

Upon arriving at Inn at Roses’s Landing, I was warmly greeted by Zane Fried, General Manager and Holly at the front desk. Zane exemplifies the finest in hospitality and public relations.
The Inn at Rose’s Landing was the 1st Boutique Hotel established on the water. It truly affords you all of the comforts of home. Each room offers a complimentary bottle of wine; sparkling or chilled, bottled water and a signature box of Kelli’s Candies chocolate. Plush linens and robes along with European style bath amenities are provided in each room. Every room has its own unique charm and intimate experience, with choices of an outdoor or indoor fireplace, or an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Call ahead for more information to reserve the perfect room for you and your guests. As a side note, this is a perfect place for your wedding party. Book the entire 10 rooms and set up your food menu!

Kelli’s Candies, is located downstairs. For dessert, step into Kelli’s Candies, where you’ll find everything from jelly beans to nostalgic sweets reminiscent of childhood. Indulge in local ice cream and homemade fudge, or grab an artisanal affogato or macchiato. A great place to bring the whole family!

Downstairs, enter into Rose’s Bar and Grill where home-cooked seafood awaits. Couples and friends sip drinks and enjoy fresh ahi appetizers as sea lions bark nearby. Get lost in their Lobster and Shrimp Tacos, or try local oysters on the half-shell. I happened to be there on Tuesday where they serve all the dungeness crab you can eat!! I was in crab heaven for sure. A young kid actually ate 11 plates of crab in one sitting!! I will be back; preferably on a Tuesday night- all you can eat crab night!!

Here at Rose’s, fire pits glow, glasses clink, and sea life clamors as visitors return from whale watching, shopping, kayaking, hiking, biking, and golfing, while others set off for the Tiki Booze Cruise.

With fine dining, boutique shopping, local adventure, and a welcoming staff ready to make your stay memorable, the Inn at Rose’s Landing is more than a getaway—it’s a lifestyle you’ll yearn to return to.
I encourage you to visit their website Inn at Rose’s Landing for your next travel adventure or even Central Coast staycation. I spoke to a family who stays here two times a year for over 4 years now. They said they would never go anywhere else!! I can sure see why. Love this place and I know you will too! This will go on my Top 20 best places to stay in California!
