Courtesy Inn, San Simeon, Ca

On my way to visit the beautiful Hearst Castle in San Simeon, Ca., I wanted to find an affordable, yet quaint Inn where I could see the ocean from my room, knowing that a lot of our baby boom readers, want just that same thing!

Driving through San Simeon, Ca., I found about 11 decent choices and chose to do my review on this Courtesy Inn, managed by Kris Gupta. You never know what you get while reading trip advisor reviews; are they reliable? are they true? So I checked in to an affordable room with a nice ocean view and found the staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Not to mention, my room was very clean, had a good smell, lovely comforter and comfortable bed on the large king size bed and a great spa and pool.

 Situated midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco along the California coastline, the Hearst Castle San Simeon Historical Monument attracts visitors from around the world. If you are planning a visit to the Castle or just coming to the Central Coast to get away and relax, the Courtesy Inn is “THE PLACE TO STAY”. Stay at the Courtesy Inn and see why they were voted the “Best Indoor Pool” in all of San Simeon. The Courtesy Inn offers a grand facility that includes the only outdoor tennis courts in San Simeon, heated indoor swimming pool and spa, and a banquet meeting space. And the rooms are some of  the largest and cleanest in San Simeon. The hotel is within walking and short driving distance to many restaurants, lounges, shops, exquisite art galleries and award winning wineries.

I’d give this Courtesy Inn, a thumbs up! The famous Hearst Castle is only about 10 minutes up the road. This is a great stop for travelers. The grounds are clean, a quiet place, walls are insulated; of course I chose an upstairs room.
