Get ‘Moe’ at Moe’s Original Barbeque!!!!!

A BIG Shout out for Josh Wallick and Eric Lindell, Owner/Partner’s of Moe’s Original BAR B QUE.

IPA Magazine on location in Lake Tahoe, went to visit the summer kick off of ‘Concerts at Common Beach’ in Tahoe City, Ca. The bands Montana and Groove Foundry were a hit! Sounds of Santana, and great jazz; all were up dancing, on a beautiful, sunny day. Then, I turned to my photograhper and said, “I do believe I smell pulled pork cooking”. I set out to find where it was coming from. So, I walked over to the food concession tents and there was ‘Moe’s Original BAR B QUE’~~ I met the owner, Josh Wallick, the nicest guy you could ever meet, who then proceeded to invite me for dinner samples after the show. He has true, Southern hospitality and makes all his guests feel right at home.

Moe’s Original BAR B QUE sits on Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City, with a spectacular view of the lake, as you can see by my photo. It’s a huge restaurant with plenty of seating. I sat outside on the deck, with my photograher, where there are lots of tables for your dining enjoyment. The sunset over Lake Tahoe is spectacular!

I sampled smoked chicken wings, fried shrimp, blackened mahi, brussel sprouts, black eye peas, brunswick stew and one of the best ‘collard greens’ you will ever experience; everyone’s favorite. Their Alabama white BBQ sauce is outstanding. By the time you have ‘Bama Style Pulled Pork’, you will be craving this forever!!!!!!

To top off the night, they have an upstairs huge room, where top bands perform. This band I saw, was great!!  Everyone was getting up dancing and rockin out to the sounds of the 80’s.

Visit their website for menu’s, catering, and location! Although Moe’s Original BAR B QUE is considered a chain restaurant, I’ll be giving it an honorable mention to Guy over at the Food Network, knowing that he frequents Lake Tahoe often. By the way, this is the ONLY location for California!!! It’s amazing and I will be back!
