Notty’s Italian Burrito – World’s 1st Italian Burrito Store!! Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Who doesn’t love italian food???!!!

I was on assignment in Lake Tahoe. I heard the ‘buzz’ about this new restaurant, ‘Notty’s Italian Burrito’, and knew I had to check it out! It’s located on the East shore of Lake Tahoe (Nevada side) in the Round Hill Village Center.

Chris Ewing, Owner, created an amazing, brilliant concept of taking your typical italian dishes and placing the ingredients in the most fresh, crisp and delicious, oven baked dough making it like a large ‘hot pocket’ from the old days! And, you can enjoy it so easily sitting in your car or taking it to the beach, or at an event. No mess, no fuss. Dine in the restaurant if you choose. Otherwise, take out is available as well as catering.

I tried ‘the ‘The Tommy’, meat lasagna, a signature dish. The lasagna is put into a crisp, delicious, ‘notty’! This is MY FAVORITE!! I really felt I was eating lasagna. It is the bomb!! Then, I tried the ‘Chicken Parmigiana Notty’, a specialty dish. These burritos are huge! If you can’t eat it at one sitting, you’ll have a great left over. Trust me, I’m addicted to these burritos. Try one of the great sauces for dipping. The pricing is very reasonable, and the menu has a variety of choices of ’notty’s’ as well as soft drinks, chips and even pick up a Notty Hat or Shirt!!

The mascot, ‘Lucas’, as seen below, was an artistic replica of combining the look of ‘Mickey Mouse’ and a sweet young boy, named Lucas who has autism. Heart warming. Lots of love at ‘Notty’s Italian Burrito’! By the way, the staff are wonderful, especially ‘Shrey’….she is upbeat and can make a great burrito!!!
