The town of Medford, Oregon and surrounding Jackson County

After staying at the Inn at the Commons, I headed over to the Chamber of Commerce to find out what there is to do and upcoming events! The Chamber of Commerce in Medford is awesome and should be any traveller’s first stop!! They have brochures on arts and culture, the surrounding wineries in the Rogue Valley, outdoor recreation, brochures on neighboring cities that include hotels, Rogue river excursions, Oregon’s Adventure Coast; Coos Bay, North Bend and Charleston!!! In speaking with some of the Chamber representatives, I learned so much about the demographics of Medford and Jackson County. Medford is midway between Portland, Oregon and San Francisco. The area is particularly favored with a mild climate. The price of homes are exceptionally less expensive than California, and you can get quite a larger home for almost half the cost. Many Southern Californian’s have relocated to Medford and are enjoying all the benefits of the beauty and much more affordable lifestyle. There are so many Events taking place all year; it’s almost impossible to mention them all. However, the Chamber of Commerce has put together these wonderful ‘2 Day itinerary’ brochures that help you plan your itinerary as there’s so much to see and do!!!
